Explosion Music Video Animation Update01

For CCAD and for fun I am making an animated music video for the Up All Nights’ song Explosion. The animation style I’ve deicided to go with is a cut out stop motion. Similar to South Park’s look, and by creating the motion on the computer. What’s different between me and them (besides my eyes are circles and theirs are ovals) is my characters are hand drawn and colored using prisma colored markers.

So here’s part of the animatic I have been working on.

I also almost have the opening since done. This time using the AfterEffects’ puppet tool. I still need to add secondary animation, faces, and backgrounds
